After noticing a lump on his face, he visited dermatologist Dr. Michael Nazareth in October 2022. Dr.Nazareth told him that he had some kind of growth on my parotid gland and then recommended he see Dr. Thom Loree at ECMC. Following a pathology report, a low-grade cancerous tumor was confirmed. Fortunately, he didn’t require to undergo chemo or radiation. However, he did undergo surgery to remove the tumor. Due to the surgery, nerves on his face were impacted thus he couldn’t return to his normal schedule at the station.
