When she joined the station, she remarked that she was excited to be part of a team that’s truly devoted to the problems that affect the viewers the most. Through various broadcasts, her life and career have been shaped.
For instance, the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest Fires, law enforcement funerals, the Planned Parenthood shooting, interviewing families of missing or murdered children, and fighting for consumers desperate for a voice with companies that wouldn’t listen. Moreover, she started her career when she served in Savannah, Georgia as a general assignment reporter.
Later, she migrated to Spartanburg, South Carolina where she served as an anchor and consumer reporter. For over 8 years, she served at another station in Colorado Springs. When she is not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, and making memories with her family. In spring 2022, she will issue her initial book a memoir about the power of mentoring, dubbed“Two Hundred Tuesdays: What a Pearl Harbor Survivor Taught Me About Life, Love, and Faith” (NavPress).
