During his first quarter Century in Washington, he gained considerable experience reporting on politics, where he covered, seven political conventions, six presidential inaugurations, and Concretional, state, and local races. He also hosted Capital Golf weekly for 17 years.
He has been honored with back-to-back cable Ace awards for health line, best local public affairs program, Emmy award on coverage of Maryland Plane Crash, Washington Dateline award for news writing, and lastly two Distinctions Media Excellence Awards for medical reporting. The Charleston, South Carolina began his career at WCIV-TV. He and his family presently reside in Northern Virginia.
