Beckstrom serves at WABC as a Meteorologist. Before joining the station, she served at KTNV 13 (ABC) in Las Vegas, Nevada as a Chief Meteorologist for 3 years and 3 months. Before that, she served at WFTX FOX 4 in Fort Myers, Florida as a Morning Meteorologist. There he covered hurricanes, humidity, and Heat in southwest Florida.
Beckstrom worked for KIVI-TV (ABC) in Boise, Idaho as a Morning Meteorologist for one year and 8 months, before going to WFTX. He has also worked for KBYU-TV in Provo, Utah as a News Anchor/ Reporter for 2 years and 8 months (September 2010 – April 2013).
Upon graduation from college, Beckstrom went to work for KPVI News 6 in Eastern Idaho as a News Anchor/Reporter. While at WFTX, Beckstrom covered tropical meteorology and severe weather and was instrumental in keeping southwest Florida informed of any severe weather. He played a key role in September 2017 when Hurricane Irma made landfall on Marco Island. During her leisure, she likes trying new restaurants, cheering on a certain sports team, eating (major foodie), and exploring New York City.
