From 2001 to 2011, she worked as a New Jersey correspondent and general assignment reporter at KYW. From 2004 to 2006, she co-anchored weekday and weekend morning newscasts and reported southern New Jersey. Often, she worked as a fill-in anchor.
For breaking news coverage of the deadly Atlantic City Tropicana Casino garage collapse, she received a Mid-Atlantic Emmy in 2013. The Mercer County prosecutor recognized her for revealing grocery store surveillance video of a missing woman with her alleged killer before police and the prosecutor.
In 1994, was when she started her journalism career producing the weekend evening news until 1997 at WTSP in Tampa, Florida. She returned to report with Bay News 9 in Tampa, and Time-Warner-owned Central Florida News 13 of Orlando.
Along both Florida coasts, she anchored and reported the news and reported various hurricanes. At K-EYE in Austin, Texas, she worked as an investigative reporter from 1999 to 2001. There, she reported on the Texas A&M University deadly bonfire collapse, and investigated the notorious Austin cold case known as ‘the yogurt shop murders.’
