Before joining KGUN 9, Callahan served as a morning anchor at TEGNA News in Sacramento (2022–2024), where she covered California’s major stories, including political developments and community issues.
Prior to that, she was the evening anchor at Sinclair Broadcasting in El Paso, Texas (2019 to 2021), where she reported on the 2019 Walmart mass shooting, one of the deadliest in U.S. history, and served as lead anchor during the COVID-19 pandemic.
