Cichoracki joined St. Clair County Community College in 2011 in his hometown of Port Huron. In 2014, he earned his associate degree in Liberal Arts through the Blue Water Middle College Academy. From there, he joined Central Michigan University in 2014 to further his education. In 2017, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology.
While at Central Michigan University, he was involved in the university’s Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. He served as vice president and president of the club, CMU’s Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. In addition, he is the former Student Government Association House of Representative, Leadership Safari Guide.

Cichoracki is a meteorologist and reporter at WILX News 10 in Lansing. His love and passion for weather began at a very young age. Prior to joining the WILX News 10 weather team, he worked at WJRT in Flint/Saginaw. During his working time there, he served as a weekend AM meteorologist and reporter for two years.
His career also took him to St. Joseph, Missouri to work for KQTV. In the course of his working time there, he served the station as a morning meteorologist for one year and nine months. Upon college graduation, he joined 9&10 News in Cadillac, Michigan. While there, he worked as a Weather Intern at 9&10 News during the winter/spring of 2017. During his time in college, he worked with News Central 34 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan as a meteorologist from September 2015 – December 2016.
During his leisure time, he likes to be outdoors. He a big fan of winter weather as well as a Detroit sports fan. He is thrilled to be working in his hometown, Mitten states forecasting all that Mother Nature throws to them.
