In the course of her time there, she served as a reporter, producer, and anchor for almost a year. She anchored the weather forecasts on the weekends and hosted Insights Into Northeast Michigan, a weekly talk show.
Since her tender age, Kern enjoyed writing and telling stories. Her first journalism class she took at Orchard Park High School and knew it was the right fit.
During her leisure time, she likes spending time with her family and friends, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, as well as spending time at the beach.
