Killimayer works with WHNT 19 News where she serves the station as an Evening News Anchor. There, she anchors the News 19 News at 4, 5, and 6:30 PM with Jerry Hayes. He also first came to News 19 to serve as the station’s first female sports anchor and reporter.

During this time, she was privileged to cover Alabama’s run to the 2012 BCS Championship and Auburn’s run to the 2011 BCS Championship. Christine was also privileged to get an opportunity to build relationships with many local colleges and high school athletes and coaches.

She later took a sabbatical from the business after about two years. Christine later returned to North Alabama’s News Leader in the month of April 2014. Killimayer also worked as a multimedia journalist until being promoted to anchor in the year 2016.

She also covered a wide variety of events and issues impacting News 19 viewers from the 27th April 2011 tornado outbreak to the team name reveal for the Rocket City Trash Pandas. Asides from this, he covered award-winning suicide prevention specials.

Prior to making the move to Huntsville, he served as a sports anchor and reporter for Greenspun Media Group in Las Vegas, Nevada. When she was there, she covered a variety of sports which include many Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Junior fights. This is in addition to covering countless UFC events and UNLV basketball and football games.

Previously, she was working for KTKA in Topeka, Kansas where she was serving as a sports anchor and reporter. While there, she got an opportunity to cover the University of Kansas and the Jayhawks’ run to the 2008 Orange Bowl and the 2008 NCAA National Championship. Asides from this, she got an opportunity to work as a sideline reporter for ESPNU.

In the course of her career, she has been honored with numerous awards throughout her career. She was privileged to receive Alabama Associated Press Media Editors and the Alabama Broadcasters Association. These include News Anchor of the Year.

She was also privileged to receive multiple Emmy nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Nashville/Midsouth Chapter. Away from work, she enjoys rooting for her Steelers, Penguins, Bobcats, and Pirates. Asides from this, she enjoys working out(currently obsessed with OTF), going to concerts, lounging by various bodies of water, and cooking.
