Ferreira serves as a weekday morning weathercaster from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. at WGAL-TV based in Pennsylvania. Prior to this role, she used to be an intern at the station while she was still in college. She went to Millersville University where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. Before working at WGAL-TV, she worked at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio where she served as a weekday morning meteorologist. She kickstarted her TV career working at KAVU-TV based in Victoria, Texas where she served as a meteorologist.
Ferreira has managed to cover a ton of extreme weather events including the hurricane season, Hurricane Rita. She later on left KAVU-TV and joined KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon where she also served as a meteorologist for three years. While there, she also covered wildfires, snowstorms, and several other weather events.
Ferreira is also an active member of the National Weather Association and also owns the American Meteorological Society (AMS) CBM Seal of Approval. Whenever she is not busy working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
