While there he produced and anchored the station’s weekend evening newscasts and reported during the week. Among the numerous stories, he covered while in Meridian is the tornado outbreak of April 27, 2011.
Chip interned in Atlanta at WSB-TV where he served with reporters and photographers in the field. His passion for news started when he was in middle school. During his free time, he enjoys watching SEC football, traveling, exercising, spending time with his family, and even watching the news.
