Before New York, Lans was in Shreveport, Louisiana where he worked for KTBS-TV (ABC affiliate) as an Evening News Anchor and Investigative Reporter. Also, at the same time, she served at KYW-TV CBS Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a general assignment reporter. Lans has also worked as a general assignment reporter at WBZ-TV (CBS) in Boston, Massachusetts.
Lans has reported on various news stories such as Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial, Aaron Hernandez’s (New England Patriot) murder trial and arrest, and the Boston Marathon bombings. The story of Meek Mill prompted criminal justice reform across the U.S. and in Pennsylvania.
RTDNA – the Radio Television Digital News Association selected Lans to travel to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, and to the NATO headquarters.
