Sticklen is an anchor and Reporter working for WCIA. In June 2022, Chance became a member of the WCIA news staff as the Weekend Anchor and Reporter. He worked at both the local NBC affiliate, KOMU, and the school’s on-campus radio station. He began his career covering a range of stories for KREX in Grand Junction. In addition to working at WCIA, he works at FOX31 KDVR/ Channel 2 KWGN as a news producer, where he joined in May 2023.
He previously worked at KREX 5 FOX 4 in Grand Junction Colorado as a reporter. Prior to working in Colorado, he worked at KOMU 8 in Columbia, Missouri where he joined in January 2018 to Amy 2021. Before serving at KOMU 8, Sticklen worked as a State Government Reporter at Missouri News Network from March 2021 to April 2021. Chance likes to spend his free time with friends, watching the Colorado Avalanche and Kansas City Chiefs, and playing video games.
