She developed her love for storytelling at a very young age and she realized her love for writing while growing up in Orlando. Silver was published in a book at the age of 9 years.
Silver began her career job in the state of Florida. She spent her summer in South Florida in Miami working at NBC 6 while attending college. While there, she assisted the investigative journalists’ team to share important local stories. The work gave her the urge to help the community by sharing their stories.
In 2014, she headed to Minnesota after preparing, and buying boots and winter coats. She began working for the PBS-owned station KAWE Lakeland News as an anchor and reporter on the evening newscasts. From there, she left for KSNB NBC Nebraska in 2015. Furthermore, she moved to Colorado Springs to work as a weekend anchor and lead reporter in 2017. During her time there, she covered the tragic mass shooting at a Boulder supermarket and high-profile court cases and wildfires.
In the course of her time in Minnesota, Colorado, and Nebraska has taught her a lot. She is thrilled to tell stories from her hometown while working at WKMG News 6 and she is looking forward to seeing the snow again on vacation. During her leisure, she enjoys listening to music, going to the movies, as well as spending time with friends. In addition, he likes traveling and exploring new places and trying new things.
