For four years, she served as a player on the women’s soccer team. Further, she attained the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal by studying online at Mississippi State. In February 2019, she attained her CBM seal.

Cassady serves KDVR as a meteorologist on weekday mornings on Daybreak at 6 a.m., and the FOX31 Morning News at 8 a.m. She joined the FOX 31 team in August 2022. While growing up, she encountered every type of weather apart from a tornado. Nonetheless, her career began when she served in Twin Falls, Idaho at KMVT as a weekday meteorologist and weekday reporter.
For two years, she served at KBTX in College Station, Texas. Later, she migrated to Winston-Salem and went on to serve as the weekend morning meteorologist at WXII. Additionally, she enjoys hiking and exploring the trails in Colorado. Also, she has vacationed in Denver, Steamboat, Vail, and surrounding regions and played soccer before.
