Before interning in Washington, DC during undergrad, Brooke interned in New Orleans, LA.

Nationally, she has studied under ABC News Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee, too, shadowing predicting for Good Morning America. Laizer thoroughly enjoyed her Great Plains Storm Chasing Elective off of campus where she tracked storms across Midwestern states. Also, she thoroughly enjoyed her Bahamas Disaster Survey Course, San Salvador Island, where she assessed damage totals to rebuild this Hurricane Joaquin-affected community.

Immediately, she started her profession on the air serving Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Jackson, Mississippi. Since she was 16, forecasting for her own beloved city during Good Morning New Orleans has been a lifelong dream. When she’s not working, she travels and roots on both New Orleans Pelicans Basketball and New Orleans Saints Football as well as Mississippi State University Athletics.
