Brittney Shipp is an American On-air meteorologist working for NBC10 in Philadelphia as a meteorologist. She joined the station in January 2018. Before NBC10, she worked for KRON-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area as a Chief Meteorologist.

She began her career at KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona as a morning weekday weather reporter/features reporter. Thereafter, she joined KTVK-3TV in Phoenix, Arizona as a special assignment reporter and a weekend meteorologist. Shipp has worked as a fill-in weather anchor for four national morning shows: Way Too Early, MSNBC’s Morning Joe, NBC’s Early Today, and First Look.
She has a passion for diversity in children’s literature, bridging the gender gap in STEM careers, and educational school visits. Shipp is dedicated to energizing young girls and students to understand science-related and weather careers through school visits, mentoring, and volunteering.
