Mellon is a sports anchor and reporter for the ABC30 Action News sports team. She is happy to return to her home state. While studying in Santa Barbara, Bri served as an intern at KEYT News Channel 3 and got her first job at the station before graduation. From the Central Coast, she moved to Amarillo, Texas where she worked at KFDA News Channel 10 as the sports director. For two years she covered West Texas high school football before her next adventure across the country. Previously before coming to Fresno, she worked at WOWT News 6 in Omaha, Nebraska where she served as the sports anchor and reporter.
While in the station Mellon covered two College World Series, Nebraska athletics, and Creighton athletics. Bri followed the Huskers’ first season under new Head Coach Scott Frost and Clovis West native Adrian Martinez. While growing up she played sports but for a decade soccer was her first love of playing competitively. Bri enjoys working out and traveling. She also loves the beach. Mellon is excited to get to cover Fresno State Athletics and to know the local high school athletes in the Central Valley.
