Gauthier serves WTVM-TV as an evening anchor for the station’s 5, 5:30, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts. She joined WTVM Newsleader 9 in September 2008. Additionally, she has served the station for more than a decade. Prior to the Chattahoochee Valley, she served at the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio, WKYC-TV as a morning anchor.

Moreover, is an Emmy-awarded journalist who has served for over 2 and a half decades in TV as an anchor and a reporter. Before Cleveland, she served ET (Black Entertainment Television) in Washington D.C. as the primary anchor and Chief National Correspondent. Also, she helped in the debut of its nightly national newscast in 2000.

Later, she went on to serve WXIA-NBC in Atlanta as a weekend anchor and a reporter. While in Atlanta, she provided coverage for multiple big stories. For instance, the 1996 Olympic Games and the Centennial Olympic Park bombing. Furthermore, she served at ABC station, KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City as a morning anchor. During her quarter-century there, she was honored with many awards for her broadcast during the Oklahoma City Bombing.

The National Association of Black Journalists is among the organizations that acknowledged her with their highest award for outstanding reporting. Her career includes work at various other TV and radio stations in Connecticut, Texas, and Georgia. In 2019, she and the WTVM Newsleader 9 Evening team was honored with a National Academy of Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Southeast Emmy nomination for Best Newscast.

The newscast included the broadcast during Hurricane Michael. Further, in late 2019, she was inducted into the NATAS – Emmy Silver Circle reserved for journalists who have showcased excellence in television news for 25 years or more. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Chapter of NATAS and dedicates her time to matters and organizations that support and assist to serve those in need in the community.

For more10 years, Gauthier served as a host of the year luncheon for Hope Harbour which assists to shelter victims of domestic violence. Moreover, she serves each year with organizations such as the Chattahoochee Council of Boy Scouts of America, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, and many others that support the youth.
