Wyatt works for Queen City News/FOX 46 News/WJZY-TV where she serves the station as a Morning Anchor. She states that the chance to cover the Carolinas and move closer to home seemed like a no-brainer for her. Her career in journalism began when she was in high school as she was interning for the ABC show 20/20 in New York City. She states that she believes this planted a seed to pursue journalism.

During her time in college, she went on to intern at CBS-11 in Dallad and FOX 4. Aside from this, she states that her love for politics and journalism collided in college when she got the chance to go cover the 2008 New Hampshire Presidential Primary with FOX 4 and the FOX-U team.

Aside from this, she states that she got a taste of what it takes to make everything happen behind the scenes and did her first live shot. During her time in college, she was involved in her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma, SMU-TV, and has served as the president of the Mock Trial team.

Later on, after her graduation, she went on to work for KCBD in Lubbock, Texas, where she was serving as a Reporter. She states that she had never been there before but was ready to make it home and learned how to do it all from shooting, editing producing, reporting, and anchoring. Afterward, she transitioned into anchoring on the weekends and producing her own shows and would even edit them too.

Afterward, she was offered a job for reporting by FOX 7’s Good Day Austin and moved to enjoy the capital city, tacos, and live music. In her time there, she covered court cases, city hall, and the legislature. Aside from that, she learned the true meaning of Keep Austin Weird and even won an award for best rodeo reporter.

For her, giving back is very important to her which is why she joined the Junior League of Austin. Aside from this, she volunteered with a grief counseling non-profit, recorded audiobooks for the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and stuffed backpacks of food for students in need.

Among the most memorable opportunities was raising a service dog through Patriot Paws. She states that the non-profit gives service dogs to veterans who need them for emotional or physical support. She states that the FOX 7 Reporter, Tommy lived with her for a while and they did a weekly segment called Around With Tommy. During her last two years in the city she had the chance to produce and anchor Good Day Austin on Saturday and Sunday. Aside from this, she states that Texas should have a special place in her heart.

Away from work, she enjoys exploring Charlotte and is involved with the Junior League of Charlotte. She stated that she was volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank. Aside from this, she states that was quickly learning to love the Panthers and the Hornets. This is in addition to being a lover of traveling, trying new food, and coffee, rolling up her sleeves in the kitchen, and trying new food.
