Upon college, she moved to Colorado to work for a small television station on the Western Slope as a reporter and anchor. She says that she can recall driving away from her home thinking someday she will be back working for FOX 2 News. During her time in college, she worked at WSYM in Lansing as a weekend sports anchor. From there, she traveled to Montrose, Colorado. While there, she worked at KREY/KREX where she switched from sports to news.
Her career also took her to Laughlin, Nevto work for KLBC TV2, a UPN affiliate. While there, she served as a news anchor for three years from August 2003 to July 2006. After that, she headed to San Luis Obispo, California. During her working time there, she served at KSBY 6 as a reporter and anchor. After some years, she began feeling the “pull” of the Midwest and realized it was time to make her way back home where she took a job at WNEM TV5 in the Flint/Saginaw market. During her time there, she began as a weekend anchor. She also worked he way up through the rank to morning and noon anchor to co-host for the lifestyle show “Better Mid-Michigan.”
During her leisure time, she like being active in the community and making a difference. She is an ambassador for C.A.T.C.H Children’s Charity.Andrews also works with the Gleaners Community Food Bank. She is very active with the Angels of Hope, the American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, and the Habitat for Humanity Foundation of America.
