Lyons is a weekend sports anchor and multimedia journalist for WRDW/WAGT. Before joining the station, she attended Ohio University (Athens). While in Athens, she was part of the Emmy award winning show at WOUB-TV for student production, “Gridiron Glory”. Shortly after she joined Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
While at Syracuse, Alyssa worked for the ACC Network Extra telling feature stories and was a part of the first all-female led broadcast at ESPN. Being an avid Cincinnati sports fan, during her free time, she can be found cheering on her hometown teams.
