She co-hosted ‘Foodie Friday,’ a show that featured local businesses and events throughout Kern County. While in the station she covered education policies, California’s major wildfires, local government, and crime trends throughout the county. Alyssa told stories of the pulse of Latino culture in Kern County, including an Emmy-nominated story about civil rights activist Dolores Huerta being recognized with her own holiday in California.
Flores started her journalism career at KFBB in Helena, Montana, United States where she reported for TV stations across the Treasure State from the Capitol.
