Charlston is a sports reporter and anchor at FOX 13 in Seattle, Washington. She is happy working and living in Seattle. Prior to joining the FOX 13 sports team, she worked for KXLY-TV in Spokane. During her working time there, she served as a sports anchor. SHe developed her love and passion for sports and games at a very young age. While growing up, she used to compete with her brother in their Sammamish driveway, fighting over who got to be Gary Payton or Rashard Lewis. She dressed up as Sue Bird four Halloweens in a row. Charlston joined FOX 13 with many Mike Leach and Mark Few stories.
Upon professional basketball career and college, she headed to Spokane to work for KXLY-TV. During this time, she covered Washington State and Gonzaga as a sports anchor for three and a half years. She also hosted HuskyTron from Home during the unique 2020 COVID-19 Pac-12 football season. In addition to that, she worked as abasketball color analyst for Pac-12 Networks .
She played professionally in Luxembourg which stretched her the most. While living in a foreign country, she juggled new languages and met the standards of an athlete paid to be efficient. They won the national championship. It helped her to hang up the shoes on a high note.(I no longer accept requests to play one-on-one.)
