Prior to this, she served the station as a weekend morning anchor and a multimedia journalist. Further, her journalism career began when she served in Idaho Falls at KIFI/KIDK as an anchor of the morning and noon programs aside from reporting on several consumers, and health problems, and politics. Chiefly, she broadcasts state government at KOAA, where she breaks down legislation and elections for viewers to gain a better understanding of decisions people in power are making.
When it comes to journalism, she believes anything out of the ordinary or having a big effect on the community needs attention. When she is not working, she loves reading books, doing aerobics, and hiking the numerous trails around southern Colorado. After sustaining an ACL tear from skiing, she doesn’t ski for now. Else, she enjoys biographies, historical non-fiction (and fiction), and anything without a long wait time on the library’s hold list.
