Prior to joining the KFOR News team, she worked at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After joining the station, she began as a sports anchor and after almost three years, she elevated to a sports director a position she held for one year and four months. From there, she was promoted to morning anchor and managing editor until leaving the station. Throughout her career, she has covered many stories including sharing the success stories of the many children who benefit from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
During her working time at KSLA News 12 serving as a Sports Director, she covered the LSU Tigers. She followed the team to National Championship and SEC Championship appearances. In addition to that, she covered the Tiger’s undefeated season behind quarterback Joe Burrow in 2019. After switching to news when she was named Morning Anchor and Managing Editor, she helped to wake up the Arklatex every morning for eight years. Her journalism career began in Fort Smith, Arkansas working for KFSM-TV. While there, she served the station as a sports reporter and anchor where she covered the Arkansas Razorbacks and high school sports.
