Adam Clark is an American Meteorologist working for WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina as the chief meteorologist. He joined the station in June 2020. He previously worked as the chief meteorologist Duluth, Minnesota Area at KBJR 6/CBS 3.

Clark is a highly educated and qualified man. After graduating from high school with a high school diploma, he attended the University of South Carolina where he graduated in 2002 with a BA in electronic journalism. Afterward, he attended Mississippi State University in Starkville where he graduated a master’s degree in geoscience/broadcast meteorology in 2005.
Adam Clark Career
Clark is the chief meteorologist for WIS-TV. Before coming to the station, he worked as a chief meteorologist in Duluth, Minnesota for more than nine years. Prior to that, he worked in Bend, Oregon as the chief meteorologist, in Augusta, Georgia as a weekend meteorologist and in Columbus, Mississippi as a news producer. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society and owns their Television Seal of Approval.
During his time in Duluth, he and his team earned two Emmys for covering an oil refinery fire by using radar to track the toxic cloud’s height and placement. He is thrilled to be back in Columbia to cheer on his beloved Gamecocks. He played the saxophone in the Carolina Band. He began his broadcasting hosting a big band/swing show (DJ name: Big Daddy Clark) at WUSC-FM. Clark loves to grill and smoke meat, he also has a 1955 Buick Century that he is very slowly restoring.
