Robinson works for 9News serving the station as a Midday Meteorologist. She also serves as a soldier in the United States Amy Reserves. Prior to joining the KUSA News team, she was working for the KETV News team located in Omaha, Nebraska where she served between February 2016 and November 2020. In her time at the station, she was privileged to win many titles. She was first hired as a Morning Traffic Anchor and General Assignment Repoter.
She then went on to join the station’s weather team as a Meteorologist after receiving a Certification in Broadcast meteorology. During her time at Omaha, she covered record-breaking snowfall, and annual severe weather, helped the morning and noon shows maintain the market’s highest ratings, and covered historic flooding.
Prior to getting to Omaha, she had made a few other stops around Nebraska and briefly worked in Kearney and Lincoln for KLKN-TV serving the team as a News Producer and Reporter/Weekend Weather Anchor. There, she worked between February 2015 and January 2016.
She has also previously worked for the KNSD team located in San Diego, California serving the team as a Video Editor. There, she was working behind the scenes to get her start in the news industry. She worked for the station between January 2012 and June 2014.
Robinson is a proud member of the National Uban League and the National Association of Black Journalists. This is in addition to having a passion for giving back to her community through volunteerism. being new to Denver, she is very happy to explore the region’s natural beauty.
