While in Florida he covered the National College Football Championship Game, traveled with the Tampa Bay Rays to Havana for their historic baseball game with the Cuban National team, and Hurricane Irma.
Before moving to Florida, Ian lived in Nashville where he worked at WSMV as a morning news anchor. He took the newscast on the road and covered CMA Fest, President Obama’s visit, and the devastating tornadoes in Lincoln County. He was also honored by the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters as the “Best TV Anchor”. While in Music City, Reitz became a big country music fan. Reitz has also worked as an anchor and reporter in Tucson, El Paso, and Palm Springs.
