Bernier is a meteoreologist at 5 p.m. for FOX 8 News. He joined when the station broke ground in Cleveland by starting a one-hour, weekday-morning newscast from 6 AM to 7 AM. Before moving over to join Cleveland icon, Dick Goddard André stayed on weekday mornings for over 19 years in the station. He also developed the outdoor weather set idea, a concept that he brought with him from his previous position he worked for at KARE-TV-11, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Andre’ is an instrument-rated pilot now studying for his commercial pilot’s license. During his free time, he enjoys hiking, working in Christian ministries, and aviation. He is also an ordained minister. He was ordained in May of 2006 at Grace Community Church in Massillon.
