Raised in St. Louis, he has fond memories of vacationing in Grand Haven with his family, which fueled his desire to pursue a career in the Mitten State.

Haenni’s fascination with meteorology began during his high school years, drawn by his proficiency in math and science. Beyond his professional pursuits, He enjoys disc golfing at the numerous courses around Kalamazoo, indulging in a wide range of music, and playing the French horn. He’s also skilled in juggling and extreme pogo sticking, activities he’s been passionate about since childhood. Throughout his college summers, He entertained crowds as a street performer in St. Louis and Kansas City.
