He was inducted into the SF/NorCal Silver Circle Hall of Fame in October 2020. Since 1990, he has been working at KRON 4 News. For literally throwing himself in the middle of his feature stories he was tagged with the nickname “Mr. Involvement.” His most unforgettable stories include skydiving, a dirt bike crash, bungee jumping, pro football, bull riding, and boxing.
Reporting from the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia was part of his personal assignments. In 1998 he was part of the KNBR Radio Morning show and drops in now and then as a guest on 95.7 The Game. From 1987 to 1990 he worked as a weekend sports anchor and sports reporter at WBAL-TV in Baltimore. Maryland. Before he was a sports reporter, photographer, and sports anchor for WRIC, in Richmond, Virginia, and WXEX-TV, now from 1985 to 1987. He attended the University of Virginia where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
