Before NBC10, she worked for WTVH in Syracuse, New York as an anchor and reporter for a decade. Further, she worked for WAQX-FM as a morning drive news anchor for 3 years. From 1985 to 1986, she worked for WSYR Radio as a radio news anchor and reporter. Before that, she worked for WHAM-AM in Rochester as an anchor and reporter for a year.

The National and Pennsylvania Diversity Council recognized her with Pennsylvania’s Most Powerful and Influential Women Award.
Davidson was inducted into Philadelphia’s Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2014. From the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, she earned the “Hero Award” in 2017. The Vera House in Syracuse and Laurel House in Norristown, Pennsylvania honored her in Syracuse, New York.
She has worked as the Honorary Chair for the March of Dimes’ Walk America/March for Babies on the Board of Directors for Philabundance. Presently, she has worked as one of the co-chairs of the Communication Committee for Vision 2020. She loves sharing her breast cancer survival story with her message: “Don’t Wait” and motivational speaking.
