He reports stories that dive deep into the heart of local communities. While at Temple, he was able to cover the university’s athletic teams as a reporter for Owlsports Update, a weekly live sports show, and also as an on-air personality for WHIP Radio, Temple’s student-run radio station.
As a reporter along with covering the sports teams, Tanner also improved his editing skills, received in-studio experience as a soundboard and camera operator, and gained additional broadcast writing skills. While with WHIP, he hosted weekly sports-talk shows, color-commentary for Roman Catholic basketball, hosted Pre/half/post-game shows for Temple football and basketball, and produced weekly sports updates. During his free time, he enjoys good conversations and finding unique food spots. He is a passionate Eagles fan (GO BIRDS!) and loves adventures.
