Tamara Berg is an American meteorologist currently working for the KCRA 3 team since December 2011. Prior to this, she worked for KION-TV in Salinas where she was a forecaster for about three years.

Her journalism career began when working in Toledo, Ohio, where she was a weekday general assignment reporter and weekend weathercaster. There, she chased summer thunderstorms and covered stories such as river flooding, and extreme snowfall events.
She is a proud member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. Away from work, she enjoys staying outdoors. She also loves running and has participated in several marathons and completed one ultramarathon that was about 30 miles.
In addition, she has also completed several other marathons such as CIM which she completed three times, Big Sur Marathon which she completed four times, and made it through Way Too Cool 50K. In addition, she also enjoys adventure and challenges. Her outdoor activities include biking, snowboarding, hiking, and kayaking.
Additionally, she volunteers for several organizations. She is actively involved with Girls on the Run of Sacramento where she is a coach for 3rd-5th graders. Berg also helps in emceeing events such as Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, All About Equine, and the American Heart Association.
