Webber is a sports anchor and reporter for Action Sports Jax. He joined the team in August 2012 and is thrilled to be back in his home state of Florida. Prior to this, he worked in Columbus, Georgia at WRBL-TV, where he covered various events, including Auburn’s journey to the 2010 BCS Championship and Northern Little League’s trip to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series.
Before his time in Georgia, Stuart gained experience in West Texas, where he honed his skills covering high school football, including the famous Permian Panthers featured in “Friday Night Lights.” While at KWES-TV, he also traveled to Oxnard, California, to report on the Dallas Cowboys training camp and covered MLB spring training in Phoenix, Arizona. In his spare time, Webber enjoys nothing more than indulging in sports, both as a spectator and a player.
While in college, he had the opportunity to report on NCAA Championship teams, including the 2007 BCS Championship game held in Glendale, AZ. Afterward, he relocated to Midland/Odessa, TX, where he honed his skills by covering a wide range of sports, from Permian football to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp in Oxnard, CA. His journey continued to Columbus, GA, where he had the chance to attend the Little League World Series and report on the 2010 Auburn Tigers football team as they clinched a national title. His dedication and hard work eventually led him back to his home state of Florida, where he now works at Action News in Jacksonville.
