She returned to the station in November 2024, after working as a Communications Specialist in healthcare marketing and communications. Spivey first joined KATV in May 2012 as an intern and later rejoined the station in April 2015 as a general assignment reporter. In this role, Spivey covered a wide range of stories, including the Governor Asa Hutchinson’s plan to carry out 8 executions in 11 days, and reporting live from the Country Music Awards in Nashville.
After being at the station for two years (2017), Spivey relocated to Roanoke, Virginia, where she joined WFXR as a full-time anchor. It was while in Roanoke that she met her husband. She later moved to Greensboro, North Carolina, where she took on the role of anchor at WFMY News.
