Sara Diamond is an American Anchor/Reporter working for WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tennessee as an evening news anchor. She joined the station in December 2001. She previously worked at KLST News as an anchor and reporter.

She then headed to KACB (now KSAN) in San Angelo, Texas, KOTV in Tulsa, and then back in San Angelo at KLST. Her career in broadcasting has taken her on many different adventures.

Sara has donned firefighting gear and struggled through obstacles of the ‘Firemen’s Challenge’ and twisted her insides in an L-29 Delphin military jet. She was nominated for the Emmy award in 2010 for Interactivity. She sat in on a Carotid Stent Procedure where she sent tweets to viewers, educating them about the procedure, and passing along comments from both the doctor and the patient. The highlight of the Tweet cast was talking to the patient’s son who lived in Michigan and passing messages between father and son.

Sara is always involved in the Tri-Cities community. She is the founding board member of the Tri-Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and also sits on the board for the Heisse Johnson Hand Up and SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services organizations. She also participates in CASA, Children’s Miracle Network, the March of Dimes, and many more organizations.
