Throughout his career he has covered major stories such as the Sago mine disaster, hurricanes, efforts to impeach former President Bill Clinton, and forest fires. He started reporting in Harrisonburg, Virginia at WHSV-TV in 1995. Afterward, he moved to Johnstown, Pennsylvania at WJAC-TV in 1996 and in 1998.
While in Johnstown, Ross produced, wrote, and hosted the Emmy-nominated special “Who Will Protect the Children?”. His next stop was in Richmond, Virginia at WTVR-TV. He has been nominated for three Emmys and in 2003 was awarded one. He was also awarded A Golden Quill and an Associated Press Award in 2003. Guidotti served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Desert Storm veteran. His hobbies include playing and coaching ice hockey, golf, weight training, skiing, and anything mechanical.
