Prior to joining the News 19 team, he was working with WVUA 23 where she joined the station as a Reporter in June 2016. She held the role till May 2017 when she was made the station’s Producer a role she held till May 2018. Whitmire has also served as Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA)’s Communication Coordinator. She held this role between April 2017 and May 2018.
Olivia states that sports are a very big deal to her and that she knows she is wanted to work in the sports broadcasting business for as long as she can remember. Away from work, she enjoys attending sports events, especially Atlanta and Alabama teams, hanging out with her friends and family, and finding new favorite restaurants.
