Niku has worked in Lubbock, Texas, Charleston, South Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee, San Antonio, Texas, and most recently in Houston as the Marketing Director for Toke Properties. She has held different position at news stations, from being a weather and traffic anchor, reporter, and anchor.
Among the stories Niku is most proud of covering was the trial of State Senator Carlos Uresti. She followed the trial for months, in and out of the courtroom daily, where she landed exclusive interviews, and helping her station lead coverage in this high-profile case that made national news. She believes in conveying stories in ways that connect with the viewers and building trust.
Although Kazori has covered hard news and crime, she has spent an equal amount of time entertaining viewers with fun segments. She describes herself as determined, energetic, and dynamic. She is fluent in American Sign Language and Farsi. She also plays the piano and cello and has lived in Japan with her husband who is in the Air Force. Niku is proud to call the PNW her new home. She loves exploring the mountains, and sharing stories.
