Nathan became part of the KCTV5 team in January 2023, taking on the role of a morning reporter. Prior to his move to Kansas City, he gained experience at KCTV’s affiliated station, KOLN, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nathan initiated his broadcasting journey in radio, serving as an on-air producer for ESPN Blacksburg while pursuing his undergraduate studies.
During his time in Lincoln, he held the position of morning reporter at the local CBS affiliate, 10/11 NOW, and co-hosted a two-hour radio program titled “On the Block w/ Nate and Strick” on 93.7 The Ticket. Nathan remains involved with both radio stations, occasionally making guest appearances. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys various activities such as watching sports, staying active through workouts, and playing golf.
Despite his brief tenure in Nebraska, he proudly identifies as a Husker enthusiast and passionately supports his alma mater, the Hokies, and the Huskers. Nathan openly admits to being a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. His background in baseball includes competing against Royals’ first baseman, Vinnie Pasquantino, during their middle school years, though he humbly acknowledges Vinnie’s superior athletic abilities. Known for his early morning enthusiasm, Nathan is dedicated to spreading positivity and brightening others’ days as a morning person at heart.
