While working at the CBS affiliate, Harrington was part of Nexstar Media Group’s “Go-Team” as a meteorologist, reporting on significant weather events across the Southeast, such as Hurricane Matthew in 2016, the solar eclipse of 2017, and multiple tornadoes and severe storm incidents.
Earlier in his career, Harrington worked at WTVY-TV, where he managed a team of meteorologists, overseeing daily operations, and delivered accurate on-air weather forecasts on CBS, NBC, and CW stations. He also had a brief career tenure at WCTV and KEYC-TV, where he served as a weekend meteorologist and a weekday reporter. Over the past 14 years, Harrington has covered every kind of weather, from blizzards and hurricanes to chasing tornadoes and crippling ice storms.
