However, while trying to make ends meet as an actor, he joined journalism while working for a local newspaper in Winchester and the rest is history.

He took a break from his journalism career in order for him to tour Europe as a lead singer in a rock band. Later on, he returned to newspapers in Windsor and Derby prior to joining BBC in the year 1990 where he joined as a reporter for Radio Solent. In addition, he is he wrote and published his own first newspaper called “The Daily Owl”, at the early age of eight years.
