Michelle Millman is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KIRO 7 News in Seattle, Washington, United States, as a morning and noon news anchor. She joined the station in March 1995. She previously worked in Lewiston, Idaho and Yakima.

Millman is a morning news anchor for KIRO 7 News from 4:30 and 7AM and Noon. Being a two-time Emmy award winning anchor, she landed began her first job in Lewiston, Idaho then Yakima. She then came “home” to KIRO 7 where she interned on the night shift just 6 years prior. After getting married, she quickly realized the morning shift made sense for her and her fire fighter husband.
Michelle and her husband crazy work schedules became even more so after their kids came along, but still, worked early morning and she still loves it. Throughout her career, she has been honored with the American Cancer Society’s volunteer award, the American Lung Association’s Outstanding Mother Award, and Evening Magazine’s Best of the Northwest female news anchor award. Her never-ending work on behalf of cancer started after first being diagnosed in 2008 with thyroid cancer then the following year with breast cancer.
Millman says the most rewarding part of being in “the club” is helping those newly diagnosed navigate all those worries that come with such scary news. She loves giving back to numerous cancers causes, especially for those who cannot afford treatment, and also gets so much out of helping Seattle Children’s Hospital & animals, Habitat for Humanity, including volunteer work with salmon restoration.
