Fuller attended Hofstra University, where he pursued a dual bachelor’s (from 2012 to 2016) and master’s degree in journalism (from 2015 to 2017). During his university years, Fuller had the opportunity to host WRHU-88.7 FM’s student-run radio morning show (home of the New York Islanders). He also emceed four of Hofstra’s traditional fall festivals, which annually attracted thousands of students, families, and alumni. Prior to joining WGAL NEWS 8, Fuller worked at NBC Connecticut, where he contributed to the news department as a General Assignment Reporter. In this position, Fuller covered the 2020 Presidential Election, the landmark case where Alex Jones was ordered to pay nearly $1 billion in the Sandy Hook lawsuit, and the rise of COVID-19. Occasionally, he was a reporter at WLTX-TV (CBS affiliate) in Columbia, South Carolina (from January 2018 to August 2020). Here, Fuller worked as a multimedia journalist, reported on Hurricanes Florence and Dorian, and also participated in Street Squad, a community journalism initiative highlighting underserved areas facing broadband issues, food insecurity, and other challenges.
Before transitioning to a full-time journalist, Fuller interned at several stations, including NBC 4 New York, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (where he was an entertainer and a seasonal cast member for five years), NBC’s Today Show, and 6 ABC WPVI-TV. Off-screen, Fuller enjoys spending time on the beach or in the mountains, finding new restaurants, and traveling to a fun destination. Beyond the newsroom, Fuller is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Society of Professional Journalists.
