Michael Berry is an American conservative radio talk show host based in Houston, Texas. A former member of the Houston City Council, Berry has worked as an attorney, a real estate developer, and a restaurateur. In 1997, Berry became president of residential real estate company Michael Berry Properties, later Brenham Partners.

Kiran Berry is the younger of the two sons and was born in Ethiopia in 1996. He was adopted by Berry and Nandy in 1998. Kiran is a graduate of Rice University and is currently working as a data analyst. Both Michael Tegegn and Kiran have spoken publicly about their experiences as adopted children and their relationship with their parents. They have said that they are grateful to Berry and Nandy for adopting them and giving them a loving home.

In 2005, Michael Berry commenced hosting the weekend program Michael Berry’s Real Estate Review on Houston radio station NewsRadio 740 KTRH. The subsequent year, Berry initiated a weekday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. talk show on sister station Talk Radio 950 KPRC, which replaced the syndicated Glenn Beck Program. On April 27, 2007, Berry assumed operations director for three Clear Channel Communications AM radio stations in Houston: KTRH, KPRC, and KBME “790 the Sports Animal,” maintaining this position until 2011.
In June 2007, Berry also started hosting a 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. show on KTRH, in addition to his morning KPRC show. The time slot for Berry’s show on KTRH shifted to 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in July 2007 to accommodate The Sean Hannity Show and The Chris Baker Show.
KPRC dropped Berry’s show on July 30, 2007, as part of its revamped “Radio Mojo” format, introducing Walton and Johnson and Mancow’s Morning Madhouse on weekday mornings. From 2008 to 2010, Berry hosted a weekend show called Texas Time, featuring new music releases and festivals in Texas. Clear Channel station NewsRadio 1190 KEX in Portland, Oregon, began simulcasting Berry’s KPRC show live in the 12 to 3 p.m. (PT) slot in April 2011.
