Her investigation of a woman falsely accused of a crime earned her recognition from the Missouri Broadcasters Association. Here, she also helped reveal abuse at a state-funded facility for physically and mentally challenged youth in Missouri.
Moon worked in Washington D.C. at CNN. She would have preferred doing something in the music industry if she wasn’t a television journalist. What led her toward the field of journalism was her need to know everything and her love of writing.
