Matthew White Education
White attended Manchester University in 2013, he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science, Communication and media Studies. He then enrolled at Indiana State University in 2014, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies in May 2017. While there, he continued with his radio broadcasting of athletic events and became a Deejay and the Program Director for a radio campus station. He changed his pursuit of becoming a sports reporter to news broadcasting and becoming a mOrning Anchor by the end of junior year.
Matthew White Career
White is an anchor of the Morning Show every weekday morning at WCIA. He landed his first news position at Terre Haute, Indiana’s WTHI-TV prior to graduation. White worked there for a while as the evening newscast editor. He then advanced to the position of Multimedia Journalist. In 2019, Matthew accepted a position as a news anchor at WNKY in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He worked as the Morning and Midday Anchor for the entire year he was there. Additionally, Matthew would provide daily news reports for the Midday show.
Matthew agreed to work as a morning and midday anchor at KCAU in Sioux City, Iowa, in 2020. He even volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club when he was in Iowa and covered the Iowa caucuses. Through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland charity, Matthew also adopted a “little”.Matthew enjoys volunteering, watching movies, listening to music, and taking trips. Reese, the name of his cat, was inspired by Reese’s Cups, another of his favorite candies. Every weekday morning he may be seen on The Morning Show with Karina Rubio.
