Weaver is a reporter for WJFW Newswatch 12. He joined the station as a producer and later transitioned to general assignment reporting and filling in for the sports desk as needed. He primarily focuses on stories in outdoor events and recreation, sporting events, and political coverage.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Matt decided to chase a dream of working in sports. While in college, together with his roommates he participated in student radio co-hosting the Core4 sports talk show. He also served as both play by play and analyst for the livestream broadcast for St. Norbert football and basketball and filling in as public address announcer for the swim team. During his free time, Weaver loves skiing, or dreaming about catching another wave in the California sun, and to be on the tennis court.
